CPP Botswana (Pty) Ltd is a firm of Consulting Engineers specialising in the fields of Civil, Structural, Highway, Bridge, Drainage, Water and Wastewater Engineering. The firm’s geographical experience spans more than 7 countries of Africa, including Botswana, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Zambia, Tanzania, Lesotho, Ghana and Liberia.
CPP was established in 1988 in Botswana, as a country office of what was then a 100% Zimbabwe owned practice under the style Civil and Planning Partnership (CPP). In 2002 it was re-registered/restructured as a limited liability company with an indigenous majority shareholding under the trading name “CPP Botswana (Pty) Ltd.
Representing several generations of experience and expertise within its various fields of activity, CPP Botswana currently employs a staff complement of 41, including 21 Engineers and 12 Technicians. The firm has a significant cultural and ethnic blend of personnel, which gives it a strong local, regional and international character.
CPP offers a wide range of services in a spectrum of sectors covering all phases of a normal project cycle, from the earliest pre-investment studies and feasibility phase, through project implementation to the actual operation phase including institutional development and strengthening of clients’ organizations.
A major strength of CPP is its ability to handle both small and major projects, which are of a complex nature, involving multi-disciplinary teams and stretching over many years. This means that staff are accustomed to working across discipline boundaries and can therefore naturally handle such complex issues as environmental, social and economic impact studies.
